An admixture in liquid form that acts both as a highly efficient plasticizer and waterproofing agent. Plastocrete N complies with ASTM C494 Type A

Plastocrete N is recommended for use in structural and mass concrete, particularly water-retaining structures such as:

- Reservoirs and dams

- Sewage works

- Canals

- Culvert tunnels

- Water tanks, swimming pools

- And wherever waterproof concrete is required.

Plastocrete N provides the following properties:

- Improved workability without increased water content

- Easier compaction leading to denser concrete and superior finish

- Increased strength and durability

- Reduced shrinkage

- Improved water-tightness

- Increased cohesiveness

- Chloride free, does not attack reinforcement

Dosage: 0.30 – 0.50 ltr per 100 kg of cement

Typical dosage: In a watertight, retarded concrete for Ready Mix Conrete:

Plastocrete N: 0.4 – 0.5 l per 100 kg of cement

Sikament 2000AT or Sikament R4: 0.6 – 0.8 l per 100 kg of cement

Compatibility: Possible to combine with all Sikament, Plastiment, Sika Aer, Sika Pump, Sikacrete PP1, but must be added separately to the mix and not pre-mixed prior addition.

Cement types: All Portland cement including sulfate resistant cement

Dispensing: Plastocrete N is either added to the gauging water prior to its addition to the dry concrete mix or added separately to wetted concrete mix, further mixing should take place for at least 1 minute per m

Overdosing: When overdosed, setting time will be extended, depending on cement content and temperature. Final strength will be not impaired.
