Uses

Form release agent for steel and wooden formwork. Separol facilitates removal and cleaning of shuttering. Number of lifts is substantially increased.

Surface preparation: All surfaces to be coated with Separol must be clean and free from grease and old concrete.

Application: Apply one uniform, thin coat of Separol by brush, roller or spray equipment, on dry or damp formwork.

Cleaning: Clean all tools and equipment with solvent.

Notes on application/Limits: Protect fresh coat from rain. Separol, once dried, is weather resistance. No risk of slipping when wet with rain. Cleaning the mould surface between each use and before applying is essential to prevent the formation of hardened concrete “build up”

HEALTH AND SAFETY

Separol contains flammable materials and falls under the dangerous goods regulations (class 3). During application in confined areas, ditches, shafts etc. adequate ventilation must be provided. During its application open fire and other igniting agents (e.g. welding works) must be removed. Wear suitable protective clothing, goggles and gloves during working with this product. In a liquid not fully cured state the thinner and the product contaminate water and should not get into drains, water and ground.
