Sikament® 2000AT (N)

Sikament 2000AT (N) is used as highly effective water-reducing agent and superplasticizer with set retarding effect for the production of high strength concrete in hot climates. Sikament 2000AT (N) complies with ASTM C494 Type G.

USES

Sikament 2000AT(N) is used especially for high strength concrete that needs long lasting slump retention under hot climate condition e.g:

- Cast-on-site prestressed concrete

- High strength bored piles

- Bridges and cantilever structures

- Slender components with densely packed reinforcement

Sikament 2000AT (N) provides the following properties:

- Substantial improvement in workability without increased water

- Allow substantial cement reduction compared to plain concrete

- Significant increase of ultimate strength.

- Especially suitable for concreting at elevated temperatures

- Long lasting slump retention

- Improved surface finish

- Reduced shrinkage and creep

- Chloride free

Dosage: 0.60 – 1.50 ltr per 100 kg of cement (Depend on cement type & brand)

Typical dosage:
0.80 – 1.30 ltr per 100 kg of cement

Compatibility:
Possible to combine with all Sikament, Sika Aer, Sika Pump, Sikacrete PP1, but must be added separately to the mix and not pre-mixed prior addition.

Cement types
: All Portland cement including sulfate resistant cement.

Dispensing
: Sikament 2000AT (N) can be added to the gauging water prior to its addition to the dry mix or separately to the freshly mixed concrete (on the batching plant or on job site into the truck mixer). When added directly to the freshly mixed concrete, the plasticizing effect is more pronounced.

Overdosing
: Accidental overdosing of Sikament 2000AT (N) causes an extension of the initial setting time.

HEALTH AND SAFETY
