Vandex, covering a wide range of products for the waterproofing and protection of concrete, is sold and used throughout the far east reigon. Vandex concrete waterproofing and protection method is based on cemtitious inorganic products that are compatible with concrete. Vandex range of products is supplied either in powder form, ready to mix with water; or in one or two component waterproofing and protective system.

ADVANTAGES

Vandex Super, a special blend in powder form, is used as a water proofing system that provides an effective barrier against moisture for walls, ceilings and floors. It provides deep seal penetration and permanent protection against water under pressure. Vandex can be used on basement walls and floors, underground shafts, garages, tunnels, swimming pools, bathrooms, foundation walls and footings, water reservoirs and retaining walls.

HOW IT WORKS

1) Section of the dry concrete wall showing the natural free lime and moisture in the capillary system.

2) Concrete wall exposed to water: The water has forced its way into the capillaries.

3) After treatment: Vandex Super penetrates the concrete, forming chemical complexes which block the capillaries.

4) The concrete is now watertight but still allows water vapour to pass through.

APPLICATION

Vandex cementitious waterproofing products can be applied by brushing or dry sprinkling to obtain optimum results. Vandex products can be applied to either pressure or non-pressure concrete face, that is, with or against water pressure.

Vandex Super / Super White contains cement. Irritating to skin. Risk of serious damage to eyes. Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust. Avoid contact with skin and eyes.
